Absolutely astounding, probably the best ice cream I've ever had. It is a very old fashioned, hand made ice cream parlour serving only vanilla with option of a flake and a scoop of Cornish clotted cream. So nice I went twice. Don't miss out.
Jelbert's has been selling vanilla ice cream for years and years, and long may it continue. There are no fancy flavours here, no coffee or exotic pastries. Just (probably) the best vanilla ice cream in Penzance/Cornwall/The UK/Europe/The World (delete as appropriate).

Absolutely the best ice cream in the world ! Outstanding! Just one flavour - add the clotted cream. Mild sweet and full of flavour. Not to be missed. We went back to get more.
We had heard alot about jelberts and finally got to have the famous clotted cream icecream.. its very creamy and a variant of vanilla and very delicious.. the location is great too, close to Newlyn harbour and it does get crowded on weekends but if you go in the mornings it will be less crowded. They sell merchandise too and surprisingly people buy them. The staff is friendly and the portion size is good too.
Ice cream perfection! Simple and tasty, you absolutely must go with a scoop of clotted cream on top, that's what made it for me! 😋
Cute peculiar place only selling one old fashioned ice cream flavour: vanilla. Absolutely delish! Choose a chocolate flake or clotted cream. So good!

This was easily the most delicious vanilla ice cream I have ever had. Take the clotted cream - it makes such a difference.
Delicious ice cream - and the only decision is whether to add clotted cream or (and?) a flake. So glad we were told where to find you. And don't worry, they accept cards.

I never ever order vanilla ice cream, but this is possibly the best ice cream you’ll ever have. Made fresh daily and super super fragrant, and the owner is amazing! A little sad bc I don’t stay here but I know I’ll be craving for this ice cream often :’) I’ll definitely come again if I come back to Newlyn in the future
